Literature
The Nobel Prize in Literature 2018 was cancelled after sexual assault allegations against Jean-Claude Arnault, who is married to Katarina Frostenson, an Academy Member. The Nobel Committee has decided to award two writers in 2019 and not to attribute the Nobel Prize 2018 “out of respect for previous and future literature laureates, the Nobel Foundation and the general public.” On October 1st, Jean-Claude Arnault has been sentenced to prison and jailed for rape.
